Ceased E-Learning Initiative

A Ceased E-Learning Initiative (CELI) is one that is no longer active and has officially ceased to exist.

CELIs should be differentiated from FELIs, as the latter can be considered to have 'failed' at meeting their goals. CELIs, on the other hand, may cease operation due to a number of factors, including:

  • Re-branding as, or merging with, another institution or initiative
  • Meeting project goals (e.g. in the case of a fixed-term project)
