The Pakistan Virtual University (the Virtual University of Pakistan, VU) supports course delivery via free-to-air satellite television broadcasts and the internet.

It was established by the government of Pakistan as a public-sector, not-for-profit institution. Its mission is to provide education for the country's citizens, both in residence and overseas. Founded in 2002, there are now over 100 campuses/learning centres across Pakistan and in several locations overseas.
