The Universidade de Brasília (University of Brasília, UnB) is one of the largest public universities in Brazil. It is located in the country's capital, Brasília. Its well known distance learning programme is managed by its Centro de Educação a Distância (Center for Open, Continuous and Long Distance Education, CEAD).

They use different kinds of media to interact with the students and give them the information that they need, these medias are: Virtual enviroments of learning through internet, printed materials, DVDs and CDs-ROM, web-lessons in Flash Player, telephone, fax and finally post offices.
