The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Open University (PLM Open University, PLM-OU) supports distance education and continuing education in the Philippines.

PLM-OU is part of the university known as Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), which opened as a University College in 1967. In 1968 it established a Graduate College, followed by the "Institute of Extra-Mural Studies" - this was renamed the PLM Open University in 2002. (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila translates into English as "University of the City of Manila", but there is no translated name for the university's OU.)

According to the PLM blog:

[PLM-OU] is designed to provide higher education and improved qualifications to individuals who are unable to take advantage of traditional modes of education because of personal and professional responsibilities.

The same site notes that Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila itself is "the largest city government-funded, tuition-free, university in the Philippines. It also holds the distinction of being the first Philippine institution of higher learning to have its official name in Filipino."

PLM-OU is headquartered at the headquartered at the Gusaling Don Pepe Atienza at Intramuros, Manila, Philippines.

The OU offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degree programmes.
